An historic low tide on Maine’s Mt. Desert Island yields rare seaweed treasures.

I spend my summers on the Maine coast,when one day in 2012 the full moon had created an historic low tide. I discovered never-before-seen seaweed of such beauty that I had to capture it before the tide rose again. Recent discoveries of dried and very sculptural seaweed expanded my offerings. In this exhibit, Cool Women Poets have taken on the challenge to match a poem to every image.
