"...Raging sunset colors are sobered by dark trees, but the red of a cooked lobster beside a nasturtium blossom proclaims the coolness of hot color unabashed. The lapis lazuli blue of the ocean suggests depth, while the moored boats in the harbor seem light and white as clouds. The vivid green of a moss garden leads the eye into a mysterious distance, and the blue eyes in the portrait of a man named Wade look at you as if he could see your own secret colors...."
